Introduction

I thought I would start out my very first blog by telling you a little about myself. My name is Ashley and I was born and raised in Wisconsin and even though I tell myself all the time I would want to live ANYWHERE else, I secretly don't think I could ever actually leave! Truth is, I love it here. My entire family lives no more than an hour away, I don't have to worry about traffic jams, hurricanes or wildfires and I really enjoy having four seasons. Anyways, now that I've successfully fulfilled my job duties as the President and CEO of the Wisconsin tourism committee I will continue on. I'm currently 23 years old and as of today, been married for exactly 6 months. I'm over the moon in love with my husband and even though everything isn't always as perfect as what I want people to think it is, we're both in it for the long haul! I chose to start this blog because I want to share my journey of trying to balance work, school, and the first year of marriage while trying to becoming more domesticated.
